Two September Initiatives Share a Sunday and Almost No Overlap

BERN - The 27 September ballot carries the neutrality initiative and the food security initiative. They do not share a coalition. They share a date, which means they share letterboxes and fight for the same remaining attention in September.

Food campaigners say security of supply is being drowned by a foreign-policy argument. Neutrality campaigners say that is what happens when you pick this Sunday. The Federal Council recommends no on both.
