ZURICH - Crowds packed Albisguetli on Monday for the Knabenschiessen, the city's shooting festival and fair. The main youth competition falls on the second Monday in September. This year that was 8 September, the same day the autumn session opened in Bern.
Tram line 13 ran extra services. Police called the turnout heavy and the mood calm. Girls have competed for years, a change that once caused an argument and now barely raises a comment in the queue.
