BERN - Green and allied groups opened signature collection on Monday against the law that allows new nuclear plants. They need 50,000 valid signatures in 100 days. Stations in Bern, Zurich and Lausanne had the first clipboards.
Industry groups said they would not try to stop the collection. They will try to win the later Sunday, if it comes. A plant remains a 2030s object either way.
