OLTEN - High fog on the plateau delayed a cluster of long-distance and S-Bahn trains between Olten, Aarau and Zurich on Friday morning. SBB reported the usual cascade: one late departure, three missed connections, a crowded platform. Services recovered by late morning.
Arrivals from Germany into Basel were already late. Fog did not create that problem. It just removed the buffer Swiss passengers use to pretend it is not there.
