BERN - The winter session rose on Friday with the federal budget adopted and several health-cost items parked until the spring sitting. Transport credits that had slipped in September were partly rescued. The rest will wait.
Parties used the last speeches to sound like the year: premiums, UBS, the EU package still in consultation leftovers, and a double no at the end of November that nobody wanted to reopen.
March will look like March
The files that slipped will return. They always do. Households will get another premium letter before parliament gets another chance to look brave.
