Spring Session Closes With Overflow Already Dated for April

BERN - The spring session closed on Friday with the familiar admission that some files will return in a special sitting. Transport credits and financial odds and ends are the usual leftovers. Party groups used the last hours to plant flags on army money and EU talks that belong to June and September.

The 8 March ballot sat over the whole sitting and decided none of the committee articles. That is how Swiss weeks work.

Next rooms

The special session is 27 to 30 April. The summer session opens on 1 June, in the same week as a population-cap campaign enters its last stretch.
