Geneva Remains a Yes Pocket for the Climate Tax, Not a Majority Engine

GENEVA - Left milieus in the city and canton still show a higher yes for the Initiative for a Future than the Swiss average. Rallies by the lake looked like a majority. They are a pocket.

International Geneva adds a climate vocabulary that does not always survive the Jura. Campaigners know that. They still need the pictures.

Civic duty is weaker here too

Even in Geneva the service initiative lags. A city that hires frontaliers is not hungry for a new compulsory roster. It is hungry for housing and a health bill that does not rise.
