LUGANO - Late June heat in Ticino filled the lakeside path and the municipal lidos. Temperatures in the high 20s are not a record. They are enough, after a grey spring, to change the working day. Some offices sent staff home earlier on Tuesday.
Italian day visitors added to the evening crush in the centre. Parking was the argument. The lake was the reward.
